No Level Seven clearance needed for this announcement! As announced by Marvel Home Entertainment on Friday, Captain America: The Winter Soldier is coming to Blu-Ray combo pack September 9th 2014 along with the entire first season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D on DVD. The releases feature making-of-videos, behind the scenes, deleted scenes.SHIELD's bonus features include Marvel: Assembling a Universe, the very same special that aired on television earlier this year, VFX Breakdowns, and Journey into S.D.C.C. which spotlights the show at it's first appearance in San Diego Comic Con last summer.
With the Winter Soldier tying into the SHIELD television show, it would only make sense to release the two Marvel productions on the same day. The Winter Soldier will be available on Blu-Ray Combo Pack and DVD September 9th with a digital release on Disney's Digital platform Disney Movies Anywhere on August 19th.
